Acanthephippium sylhetense

Originates from the subtropical foothills round the Himalaya, and thus requires intermediate conditions of 26 C day and 22 C night. The species prefers shade, doesn't like repotting and water sparsely in resting period. Use well-draining soil as described above.

Acanthephippium mantinianum

The flowers of this species are 4 cm in diameter and their perfume is rather unpleasant. Leaves have a with of 20 cm, which is unusual.
