The TOW is intended as an easy to use interface between the various components of the Terrestrial Orchid Community. It can be used by the forum members to create just about anything, from guidelines for culture of plants to lists of weblinks and to compile data that has been posted on the forum.

There´s a comprehensive short manual where you will find all the necessary tips and tricks for editing the content. Those of you that have experience with Wikipedia will see that it's virtually identical in use. Like in Wikipedia, you're not required to log in. We keep track of the changes, so you can't break or delete anything.

If you're unsure about editing or creating texts, have a go at the playground where you can experiment with all the possibilities this interface offers without having to worry about possible damage.

This link will take you to the base of the Terrestrial Orchid Wiki, from there on we'll try to build something that is a usefull addition to the Forum and the Gallery. If you need images, you can upload them on the gallery, just browse and use the existing ones or -even better- upload them while you're typing by pressing in the toolbar above the text you're editing. You can also link back and forward to and from the forum if you find it necessary.

It's as much of an experiment for me as for you.
