It is very difficult to get vamin and soluvit so it is possible to use yeast extract instead of vamin and another vitamin B solution such as nitsch & nitsch instead of soluvit. nitsch & nitsch vitamin is commercial available at www.duchefa.nl

For some species (Ophrys, Himantoglossum and some Orchis replate) it is better to use a modification of this medium.
